The Doramas Rural Park is one inviting opportunity in north Gran Canaria. Pristine nature and agricultural areas blend into one huge attraction which neighbors upon several municipalities: Santa Maria de Guia, Moya, Firgas, Arucas, Teror and Valleseco. Ravines, springs, vegetable richness and small picturesque villages, as well as cultivated parcels fill an area of more than 3,586 hectares. One of the main highlights of the Doramas Rural Park refers to the Barranco Oscuro Nature Reserve which is, actually, located within Doramas.
Cactualdea Park is a theme botanical garden pegged out by several other attractions, such as the so-called Guanche cave. It is also home to Lucha Canaria.
Located in Santa Maria de Guia, the El Brezal Nature Reserve, despite its small dimensions, is highly important in preserving the microclimate balance.
The The Guayadeque Museum does not necessarily cover a unitary topic, but its exhibits and collections consist of architectural faunal and floristic items.
