Nestor Alamo is one of the greatest figures born in Gran Canaria who have contributed to enriching the cultural life of the island by musical creations. History has also retained the name of Nestor Alamo as writer, which adds to the cultural value of the place. The ground floor of the museum depicts as closely as possible the life and work of Nestor Alamo, whereas the top floor is dedicated to recomposing the history of music as this form of art appeared and developed in the Canary Islands. The building hosting the museum features a fair architectural value, representing a typical 17th century manor.
