Casa de Colon is an architectural complex the value of which resides, first of all, in the fact the edifice used to be the house of the governors of the island some 5 centuries ago. Its inner value is enhanced by the fact the edifice is populated by collection of paintings dating back to the 15th and the 16th century, as well as by the fact the edifice also hosts the house of Christopher Columbus, a museum, a library and an area dedicated to scientific topics. Casa de Colon is also the place where the greatest researchers of the world meet and organize special activities every two years.
