Museo de la Rama stands out by a unique feature: it is the first museum in the Canary Islands trying to provide an insight into an event, more precisely, a religious event held in great respect in Gran Canaria: Our Virgin of Las Nieves. The museum does not necessary enjoy a huge popularity. On the contrary, it is a little known cultural edifice located in Agaete, and one might easily say the event it depicts and explains exceeds, by far, the fame of the museum.
